The Bridgeland Riverside Community Association needs you, your ideas, and your input!
There is ample opportunity for you, as a member, to be involved. If you do not wish to be on the Board, you may be interested in being a committee member. Share your skills and enthusiasm with the community! Consider serving on the BRCA Board of Directors. It’s a great way to give back to the community, while developing your own potential as a leader. The following Board Positions are currently vacant:

Fundraising Director: 1 year position - responsible for raising funds for various functions and operations of the Community Association. The Fundraising Director has the exciting opportunity to directly impact revitalization projects for Bridgeland-Riverside, mainly in the area of sport and recreation infrastructure.Prior experience serving on a board is an asset but not required. Facility Operations Director: 1 year position - directs a committee that is responsible for various hall facility operations. The main responsibility of this volunteer position is to oversee the operation and management of the Bridgeland Riverside Community Hall, including budget, staffing, and maintenance. The Facility Operations Director (FOD) is a member of the Board of Directors, and is reportable to, and receives authority from the same. More info.

Volunteer Coordinator: 1 year position - responsible for organizing volunteers to fill needed positions. This position requires a highly energetic, self-motivated individual with strong leadership and communication skills. Prior experience serving on a board is an asset but not required. Time commitment is a minimum of 10 hours per month. More info.

The main time commitment for all of the above positions is a monthly meeting held at 7 pm on the first Monday of every month. Please feel free to attend any meeting if you have any concerns or just want to keep up to date on what is going on in your neighbourhood.

- Attend and report on community events
- Interview your neighbour and share their story with us
- Take photos of the people and places of Bridgeland-Riverside (ensure you receive permission from people you photograph before submitting their photo)

Programs Committee Members
We need people to spearhead any programs that they may find of interest. We have people that can help you but we need people to take on leadership roles on specific programs. Contact programs@brcacalgary.org for more information.
