The Bridgeland-Riverside Community Association facilitates involvement and opportunities that attract, connect and sustain a diverse network of people and businesses to improve our collective quality of life.
Our Mission
The BRCA’s mission is to foster the vision for Bridgeland-Riverside by serving and engaging residents and other stakeholders of our community through:
- Facilitating the development and delivery of recreational and social programs
- Connecting the community with information and opportunities
- Engaging with the community to support healthy commerce
- Stewarding the land and facilities under the society’s care and making them optimally accessible to the community
- Coordinating and communicating urban planning issues for the future development of Bridgeland-Riverside, preserving its values, while supporting its evolution.

Neighbour Day - June 20th
On June 20 the city of Calgary celebrates Neighbour Day, recognizing the incredible community spirit and resiliency that brought neighbours together during the floods of 2013. Bridgeland is celebrating OUR incredible spirit that day with several events. Fit Republic is celebrating their Grand Reopening that morning with a photo scavenger hunt, free light lunch and prizes. The Bridgeland Riverside community association is celebrating with a potluck picnic, old school games where you can challenge your neighbours and a family baseball game. There is lots to do and lots to celebrate in our awesome neighbourhood! Come join the fun.
Adult Summer Soccer
Adult Summer Soccer
Come out Tuesday and Wednesday nights in July, and Wednesday nights in August! ‘Pick-up’ style soccer will take place from 8:00pm-9:00pm at Murdoch Park (behind the BRCA Hall on Centre Ave.) We provide the field permit, balls, nets and pinnies. You provide the fun!
